Know matter which corner of the globe you reach out to, everywhere, John lennon has, is and will always be known as one of the most prominent fashion and musical legends the world has seen. Many people know him as simply a musician, but he was far from just that. The cultural and sociological impact he had on the world was incontrovertible.
From a fashion perspective, Lennon shaped the way the world's aesthetic was formed around fashion. He made it acceptable to liberate and be yourself and the world was hugely grateful for that, damn it I am. The one look that people remember from John lennon was of course the tailored velvet blazer! pearling a very small pin on the breast pocket and of course his signature circular aviator sunglasses.
No one can deny that Lennon had a huge impact on us all, and over the last few weeks I've even seen influences starting to creep over the past few months. Let's just hope all the comes back I sank appreciation and not some cheap rip off.
